In 2010 it is proposed that the Liability Discussion Group will host five sessions in March, May, July, September and November. Attendance is free to NZILA members. Details of the upcoming sessions are detailed below.
2010 Sessions
The next session will be held on 20 May 2010 at the Winter Garden, Northern Club, 19 Princes Street, Auckland between 10am and 12pm.

- John Lucas and Terry Jordan of the Insurance Council will give a regulatory and compliance update
- Mark Jones of FMR Risk will discuss liability market trends for 2010, touching upon current coverage issues, foreseeable product developments and regulatory implications.
- Craig Langstone of Jones Fee will comment upon the recent High Court Auckland decision Otahuhu Joint Venture Partnership v. Watson, which concerns a lessor's action to recover damages from the lessee's employees for loss caused by a fire, and the application of the statutory exemption under the Property Law Act 2007.
